Question about E-Machines eMachines Desktop PC
I have a emachine T6216, When i start the computer it just goes full blast! It never kickover, I do not get anything on the monitor... Can anyone help! I was told it might be my Video Card.. Please if there is a Guru out there please i would like your ideas.
Thanks so much
Power off the computer, remove the power cable, and remove the Ram sticks from your computer, then power the PC back on
if it beeps, that is a good sign, since it is detecting that their is no ram present (which the PC needs to load Windows)
if it doesnt beep, try removing all of your PCI devices and try again
if it isnt putting out video, however, and you have tried different combinations with the Ram, try another power supply, otherwise it may be a bad motherboard
signs of a bad motherboard include high fan speed (and not slowing down), the LED on the front is either off or brighter than normal, instead of flickering, and no video
hopefully that helps

Check the memories if more than one check them one at a time
sometimes the memories cause this problem. If memories are working then check video card.

Sorry, it doesn't seem like it is a problem that can be solved here. Sounds like time to go to the repair shop.
