can you help me i have 1998 mazda protege se my problem is in the last two mouths we have had some proplems with this car sqwelling replaced altenater replaced belts replaced emc module still have the prolem but now only on the take off or come to astop all so car sakes on idlea do i just need to re teyten the belt

I feel that it could be the tension pully. It holds the belt tight so it doesn't squeal while it goes around the other pullys. You said that on idle the car shakes...do you mean the engine shakes? If that is the case...the best suggestion is to check out the engine mounts an see if the rubber bushing(s) are gone. If they are ok...then I would bring it to my mechanic an ask them for a free diagnosis....an ask them how much it would cost an what is the problem. Hope that helps.
