Problem for HP W2007 LCD Monitor

My monitor will not wake up

I was playing a game the other night when my computer monitor went into sleep mode. I tried using my mouse and rebooting it. When I turn on my computer I hear a beeping noise and the screen remains blank. My computer is a hp pavillion vista and my monitor is a hp w2007 lcd monitor. Please help me.
