Question about Lexmark X8350 All-In-One InkJet Printer
I have tried several times to install my Lexmark x8350 to my Dell Latitude 630c machine. The machine is firewalled with Kasparsky Internet security 7.
When I install the driver (vista), following the instructions, I gett the error message "the installation was terminated by user". consequently the installation was not completed.
Do you have any solution or tip of what's wrong?
To install the drivers do the following:
Disable all firewall and antivirus before installing the driver.
Unplug printer USB before starting driver setup.
On some Vista installation you also need to bypass what is called UCI. To do this, locate the driver installer file, click the right button of mouse on the installer file (must be executable, usually called setup or install), and select "Run as Administrator" from dropdown menu, usually is the last option.
Say allow whenever asked if to allow the installer to perform an operation.
If your printer is a Lexmark, download drivers from: Official Lexmark Drivers and Software
