Hello CLOCKMENDER and Happy New Year. It is extremely difficult to provided decent advice from long distance .1st of all I get the sense that from your title(CLOCKMENDER) that you are far more intelligent than the average bear. So I will assume that if I give you the appropriate data you can run with the ball as you always have. If I understand you properly you have a situation where you not only send the appropriate commands for your computer to print a photographic image but you are receiving a response that "photos being printed". Typically that means this means that communication has been successful and that the "data (photo) has been successfully been transmitted and accumulated (recieved) somewhere. The response you are getting that "photos being printed " can occur if for some reason that data is being pointed to a "print folder". Think about it{and I am not being a smartass} , usually if a print job of any type cannot be successfully accomplished you will get a "nag" response of some type saying "uh oh....no good" .I must assume that you are not getting a printer error that appears in the lower right of your your taskbar. If most of my assumptions are correct then please consider the data I have provided and let me know how I might help if you wish it. I truly want to help. !! Listening.....
Clockmender;
what type of print server do you have and what model of Epson printer do you have? I would check the memeory of the print server / if it is set to a static IP address / is it internal or external./ and than try printing the pictures in a smaller size to see if they pirnt at all. If at all possible try to set with a static and not let the network put a unc address in for the port. Try hooking the pirnter driectly to your computer and print. This will tell you if your memory in the printer will take that size of print.
this may be a dumb question but is the right printer selected on the network? The driver may be accepting the communication but not necessarily be ouputing to where you want.

The utilities that came with the print server install OK, but get an error when attempting to connect to the print server. Same issue - driver loads & finds print server (TE100-P1U) fine, sets IP address (& I can ping p/s ok) but Add Printer in Vista reports
"Windows cannot connect to the printer. Make sure that you have typed the name correctly, and that the printer is connected to the network."
then returns to the Add Printer window, listing U1 on PS-xxxxxx \\ps-xxxxxx\U1 as (only) network printer to select.
Running Vista Home Premium sp1.
The PC I'm doing the setup from is connected wireless to a Linksys wireless router; printer is hard-wired to 100Bt port on this router.
Ideas?

When I connect HP deskjet models 3520 or 3650 to the unit's USB port, power up the printer, and then power up the device the USB light blinks very briefly then goes out and stays out. This happens consistently, even after the unit has been powered off for hours before trying again. Is it fried?
