Belkin N router model F5D8236-4 V3 causes motorola modem to fault out requiring reset from ISP. The reset then is only good for about 3 days before it faults again. The router is wired to 1 desktop and we have only 1 laptop accessing the router on a secure connection. The prompt I get on both the laptop and desktop is "... can not connect to server...". Despite this problem my connection on both systems (laptop and desktop) shows 100% on the menu bar and when I ping the IP address for both all works well (4 sent + 4 received). Also no lights are out on my modem or router to indicate a problem.

Windows 7 & XP, p printers. XP is cabled, all others wireless. Router sees all devices and issues ip adresses. PCs access internet fine, but devices do not see each other on LAN. File/printer sharing appeares to be turned on, but no response from any networked device for either OS.
