Won't turn on - red lamp light flashing

Most likely it is the lamp. Open the lamp door and check the lamp visually. If it is shattered or cracks. Also if there is a cloud near the stem of the lamp, the lamp has reached the end of it's serviceable life. Replace the lamp to fix it.
