Check for paper jammed inside the printer. Check usb adapter is connected, if not printer does not turn on. however you can make a engine test page by pressing a button inside hole located in lower right side when you are behind the printer (below usb adapter)...
If anything does not work, your printer is over now..

Dell dimension e510 flashing amber light USB front panel

If you are comfortable around computers, you could try the following to test the power supply. Unplug the cord from the power supply, hold the power button in for about 15/20 seconds, open the case, unplug the 24-pin power connector from the motherboard and jump the Green wire to one of the Black wires, reconnect the power cord and power the system on and if power supply fan and hard drive run, then the PSU should be good. Note: Do not remove any wires from the plug, use a small piece of wire or a paper clip as a jumper. Power supply checks out and the system still does not work, again remove the power cord, hold power button in for several seconds to discharge the residue power, reconnect the 24-pin connector to the motherboard. Remove all the PCI cards, the video card [if applicable], memory, all peripherals, disconnect the data and power cables to all the drives, check that the front panel cable is connected to motherboard, with nothing else connected to the system, reconnect the power cable and power the system on. If you do not get any beep codes or diagnostic lights on the front panel, then it would appear that motherboard has died.

Does turn on

Hello my friend,
- Unplug the power cord from the laptop and remove the battery. Plug the power cord back to the laptop and press and hold it for 10 seconds, then try to press the power button. If it works then it means there's a problem with the battery.
- If above solution does not work, and the laptop is not turning on, it's a possible problem with the power cord or motherboard of the laptop which may need replacement.
~~hope this helps~~

Reset my Dell 926 all in one printer

The Dell 926 printer is an All-In-One model that you can use as a printer, scanner and a fax machine. When the printer becomes unresponsive there may be a communication problem between the printer and your computer. To correct this type of problem you need to first verify that the USB connector cable is not malfunctioning. You can do this by resetting the communication settings between the computer and the printer.

When i try to print something a window pops up that says "communication not available" ive tried restarting, unpluging the power cord and the usb cord...nothing seems to work

This problem could be caused by several factors - incorrect USB port selection, your printer is not set as your default printer, firewall, etc. This article in the Lexmark website: Communication Not Available' Error Message and Print Job Stalls in Print Queue will help you determine the cause and resolve your printing issue.

My PC can't seem to recognise my Creative Zen Vision M 30gb anymore. It has been working fine but today nothing doing. The display on the device says it is docking when I plug into PC but PC says it is not...

What you have to reset is the PC, not the Zen.

Try unplugging the PC AC cord for ten-fifteen minutes. This will drain power and get rid of electrostatic charges accumulating on USB connector contacts.

If that does not work, check USB status in device manager, and test the Zen with a different cable. Also test the unit on a different computer.
