possibly have a capacitor out on the compressor side of the a/c Since the unit works and its only blowing air the compressor isn't kicking in. The capacitor boosts the compressor to activate the compressor. I would have the capacitor to the compressor replaced first before going any further.
Hi, the first thing I would do is to go out, listen and have someone turn it on. See if you can hear the compressor come on. Since this is a split system, your condensing unit may not be coming on at all. If not, check the fuses at the disconnect box by the unit. You will know if the outdoor unit is on if the fan is running. If it wasn't running and is now, make sure it starts to cool. If not, then have your run cap checked, only if the compressor isn't running. You could also be low on freon if everything else is operating. Please let me know and we can go from there. Good Luck, Shastalaker7
