Hi, I have the Sony CDX-M630 cd player had it for a while now, and I'm running 1 12" 1400 watt pioneer subwoofer and a 980 watt power acoustik amp. I wired everything up my self and everything worked perfectly. A year later I blew my subwoofer and had to rewire my truck including the deck, so my problem is that my subwoofer doesn't work when i put a cd in. The subwoofer works for the radio, when I have my ipod hooked up. I don't know if it's a wire that I missed or just blew something inside the deck. Some help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Deryk
I have just purchased a new sony explode head unit. the problem is that when i plug it in the subs dont turn on but when i plug another cd player in they do. I know its not the cd player bc i have another sony explode that does the same thing. they are both really nice and i would like to use at least one of them. The 2 explodes dont work but the regular sony does and they all have the same connections to hook up so i can jus unplug and plug them all in... i have no idea wat to do.

Hi,
You need remote under following part number for CDX-M630
47711014
RM-X117 REMOTE CONTROL for $33.95
It is available in Sony Accessories Store (copy link in browser search bar)
You can use either set of RCA outputs for the amplifier that you want to. Only difference in either of them is front, rear and sub outputs. If you are only powering a sub amp, then use the sub outputs, otherwise, the other two will work fine. You can still use the outputs from the radio itself to power four other speakers while using the RCA outputs.
you're using the wrong remote output wire. You have it hooked to the power ANTenna wire (blue) which turns off when not using the tuner. You need to use the REM OUT wire (blue w/ white stripe).
