Pull it all the way out ... have a nail ready to put into the hole just past the end on the tape, in the spring. Remove the tape. Install the new one (insert the tang into the hole and twist). Remove the nail and carefully allow the spring to pull the new tape in.

I hope this works for you

Tip of my Stanley PowerLock 25' broke off. Is it repairable? Yes the tape slid back into the housing.

You can put it back on but depending on how it broke and how you reattach the measurement will be off a tad.

How o figure sq ft of my home and bedroom

I don't know how to deal with it because I hired special people for it. The only thing I did myself - I chose the design. I adore the grey colour and that's why I was looking at rooms with grey walls on https://kudoshouse.com/best-83-grey-bedroom-ideas-gray-bedrooms-with-images/ and I am impressed by these ideas!

2010toyotatundra powerlocks and powerwindowsdo not work

fuse blown.
check fuses.
some cars have circuit breakers on window motors.
if one motor shorts the breaker pops but then resets.
i use a voltmeter to find lost power feed.
its easy.
check voltage to motor, got 12v , when active (swith closed?)
no, then check at the switch, got 12v at switch input and output
with switch active,
yes, then wire is cut from switch to dead motor.
no, then wire is cut from input to switch and fuse.
like that. its not hard at all to use any voltmeter even a $10 meter at walfart.

What are the best tapes to buy to recrod from your reel to reel. I have some tapes that record and some don;t. Is it becaue they old or defected. Help me out. vp

maxell or tdk (which is hard to find now)....if your reel is 7 inch you want 1800 ft, normal bias (lo noise hi output) tape (for 10 inch you will use the 2400 ft) ....anything longer your tape will be dragging (both while recording and playing) hope this is helpful...feel free to rate
