Try filling the ice maker with tap water and let it freeze. If the ice maker cycles and dumps the cubes and then does not refill the dual water valve on rear of the refrigerator for the ice maker fill side is defective, if nothing happens when you pour the water in the trays then most likely the ice maker needs a new thermostat. I'll come back hopefully with photos and links. Sea Breeze
