What exactly are you having trouble with? I have a 5000 series Presario. Did you get an exact replacement power supply? Check the plugs to make sure.

There should be a mother board connector that will only go on one way (if yours is split, they will still only attach one way), the Molex and mini Molex are for the drives.

you can put in any new micro-atx motherboard no problem. I can be 100% sure if the case is Atx full size- best way to check is to see how many pci expansion slots are available at the back of the case. Any Atx case can hold micro-atx mobo's but a micro atx case wont hold atx mobo.

Most netgear adapters will work.
They're around £20 and will connect to pretty much everything =)
They work on windows, from 98 i think. So aslong as the old tower has a sort-of up to date OS then it'll connect for you :)
