Theres a leaky capacitor on the 9V regulator output line. If you don't know what I'm talking about, you probably shouldn't try but it should be a fairly reasonable repair by a pro. Good Luck

I have KIA sorento 2.5 diesel 2009 model and it was overhaul engine and now the the oil lump keeps on flicking when reducing speed or idling after getting warm, What could be the problem

Remove the oil sender unit, fit a oil pressure gauge , start the engine and read the oil pressure at idle engine hot, must read above 10 psi and needle not flicking, must increase with engine speed , if pressure is ok replace censer, if not check oil pump screen and relief vale spring, can also be caused by crankshaft bearings clearance .

What is a ballast?

A ballast keeps a tiny charge running into devices that would otherwise need to "warm up" in order to function properly. Non-flicker florescent lights use a ballast so that they come on right away when you flick the switch.

Initially, on turn on, the screen would flick white and keep flicking white until its turned off. Normally after waiting a few hours, seems to work OK, but now, it won't even turn on/power up even if...

If both screens flased and then it went off the logic board has failed, but if it was just the top screen flashed the bottom screen is faulty and needs to be replaced. can you post back and tell me which one one it was.cheers.

My ge side by side is warm on both sides and

UN PLUG IT FIRST.UN PLUG IT FIRST. To do this with warm water.
You need to defrost her. The main evap is in the freezer side, pull out all the food and stuff. Pull out the shelves. Try to find out how to remove the back, take the back off. Get ready to make a mess. Pour warm water on the coil. Make sure the drain is open. Most of the time this is whats wrong, some one may have left the door open a smidge. Causing the frost, too much outside warm air. Also look for what is called a Klixon switch, should have two wires running to it, and will be clipped onto one of the coil pipes. Make sure the wires are connected proper. You can try to put the Fridge in manual defrost buy opening the freezer door and manual tunning off/on the light. Try 6 times real quickly, flick, flick, flick, flick flick 6 times buy hand. if that does not work try 8 times. if this does not work to put it in defrost make the mess with warm water.

Picture is Rolling..stops after some warm-up

I have seen this many times. There is a 9 volt regulator on the small signal board that causes this. The regulator goes bad and the 9 volts starts dropping, especially at start-up when the regulator is cold. If the voltage is below 8 volts then the picture gets dark and the vertical becomes unstable, with the picture squeezing down and/or rolling. As the regulator warms up the voltage starts rising back towards 9 volts and the symptoms start clearing up. There are 3 regulators in a row on the board and the regulator in the middle is always the bad one. Replacing that regulator should cure your problems but it should be replaced by someone experienced in servicing Mitsubishi projection TV's because pulling the chassis out is quite tricky.
