Question about GPX MW3837 MP3 Player

1 Answer

Error Message Peridocally, I receive an error message as the display changes songs, goes to the next song, all while blinking the displayed title. When I turn the unit off, an error message appears. The only way to fix it is to erase all the downloaded songs, press the reset and start again. This has happened 3 times to the first unit that I returned to the store after only 2 days and the replacement unit is now doing the same. Any ideas?????

The only way to fix it is to erase all the downloaded songs, press the reset and start again. There is no firmware - GPX provides no legitimate support, firmware, etc for this product -one of the worst mp3 players ever

How do I delete songs off of my sony walkman 4GB

1. Plug the MP3 player into the USB port. Open Windows Media Player, which will recognize that the device is plugged in and register under the "Sync" tab at the top.
2. Click on the "Sync" tab and and the library that is on your MP3 player will be displayed.
3. You can select individual songs or albums for deletion. Simply right click on the song or album to be deleted and scroll down to the "Delete" option.
4. After selecting "Delete," another window will come up which says "Are you sure you want to delete [title of song]?" There are two options at this point--you can delete from the library only or from the library and your computer. Select the one or the other and click "OK." The song will be deleted. The change will be displayed within the library onscreen.
5. When you unplug the player from the port, the library will adjust the files to reflect the change. The player will say "configuring library" or some other message to that effect. Once this has finished, the main screen will be displayed. Depending on the model of the MP3 player, there may be a message stating "library updated."

TITLE DISPLAY

Burn the CD using Window media Player. Also if your Head Unit will play MP3 files, Burn a MP3 format disc. It will display everything including the Author.

Error message M506

I also had this problem and thought my music players were broken. The media players displayed the songs as 00:00:00 even when the file info read that it took up space and had a song length. The music player displayed that m506 error message.

I looked through forms for an answer, and I noticed I didn't try messing with one thing: THE BATTERY.

Try taking the battery out of your phone and putting it back in. It worked for me! My music players work again!

File Error message

Sounds as if the players system is corrupt, you will either need to find factory reset or use the software that came with it to format the player.
