Ps2 slim, plays ps1 games but wont play ps2 games

if your ps2 is old version it wont play guitar hero.......but if it is new then will play

u will probably need the ps2 slim

on the first ps3s but not now......im not sure bout the slim......mine plays ps1 2 3

playstation 2 does not like guitar hero. 

i had the same problem, what you have to do is get a new playstation.Its that version of the playstion that doesnt play it.

the same problem happened to me, and i just pressed the sync buttons on the guitar and the wireless adaptor at the same time and let it sit. it started syncing fine after that. I hope i helped! :)

Are you trying to play a PS3 game on a PS2 ?

okay, try this: 1. Start up PS2 with no disc 2. select 'Browser', press triangle. 3. select 'Console', press triangle. 4. select 'Diagnostics', press X, select 'ON'. 5. press 'O' to back out of this menu. 6. select 'Playstation Drive', press triangle. 7. select 'Disc Speed', press X, select 'FAST'. 8. press 'O' to back out of menu. 9. turn off PS2. 10. insert disc. The Diagnostics should run and automatically adjust your PS2 to play the game. I got this "FIX" from someone who had the same problem. Hope this helps :D

You can't play anything from PS3 on PS2.
