Question about RCA HD52W59 HDTV Projection Television
Thanks to those that helped me find the problem with the tv. just need
one last thing.... the spec on fuse fl231. It says t400ma, which I
assume is .4 amps. Anyone know the voltage and any other specs I need n
ordering this fuse? Possible site to order from? Thanks to all.
FL 231 is a flat part in a group of three. It is the middle one and is red in color. Make sure your flyback solder points are good or the fuse will blow again. Your best bet is to resolder the entire flyback, as some cracked points are hard to see. The flyback is the big component with red wires coming out of the top next to fl231.
FL231 is the only component needing to be replaced when dealing with a 3d look and no autoconvergence menu. The fuse is only .99 cents at Digikey.com.

Can you tell me where in the TV I will find fl231 and can you tell me what the fuse looks like? Is it flat...round or what? In my TV, on the circuit board, there is a flat red (what looks like a copassitor) item marked fl231.
