Question about Saeco VIA Venezia
I bought a used VIA Venezia (Starbucks Barista) and it doesn't work. I can hear it working, but no water gets through when I try to prime it. I took the pump apart, but how can I tell exactly what peice isn't working? There is a brass T-fitting on the end of the pump, could that be clogged? The one end doesn't seem to let air flow through it, but that could be because there's a valve or something that should be closed.
Go to Starbuck's website: http://www.starbucks.com/retail/espressomachines.asp. They offer manuals to download, and in the FAQ section, advise to check out your filters and to decalcify. Try these remedies. They should work. Good luck!
