No image just sound

I have no image in my TV, it turns on and after a while it turns off again, no failure light no nothing. I have barely one year with my TV and I am not sure if it's the lamp since there is no sign of failure on the bottom part

Does the timer light flash? Is possible that you need new thermocouple AND lamp.

Without a Make or model it's hard to say, but I would have to say it's the IFT which is the High Voltage Transformer.

a 42hp66 is a plasma set,, the y-sus or the z-sus circuit board has probably gone bad.. as these are expensive parts you might want to have a technician determine which one of the two is bad before ordering both of them
