Question about Jazz DV-179 Digital Camera
I purchased the above Digital Camcorder for my wife for Christmas. Earlier tonight, we took it outside to tape the snow falling. We live on a street, that when covered with snow, looks picturesque... Well, the DV179 from Jazz is terrible when filming with little light. I did read some reviews, that it took excellent video during the day, in bright sunlight, but what can I do about the poor quality of the video while filming at night? The unit has an auto setting for white balance, or daylight, or flourescent, or Tungsten/incandescent lighting, but what about 'night lighting'? The video was so dark, we could not distinguish anything, and the scene was so nice, I just had to capture it...
Well, what should I do, carry around a huge spotlight? Any assistance would be greatly appreciated...
