I have a new laptop that I'm trying to connect to my Wireless-G Broadband Router so I can have wireless internet connection. I have been following the instructions on the disk, but at a certain point, it asks for a password. I don't know what it wants, as I don't remember a password when I hooked this router up to my wife's laptop several months ago.

If none of those work. Hold the reset button on the back for 30 seconds. and then try again.

- i have the same problem with connecting Linksys wireless-G Broadband router. I dont have an internet connection when Im configurig the router. I have tried all the steps to install the programs,but still to no avail, I was dissapointed.- rey pauig

Try each of these suggestions 1. username admin, password 1234, 2. username leave blank, password admin BPCS

Also, go to 192.168.1.1 and leave username blank and password as 'admin'. This will lead you into the settings, you can enable/disable the password and change it here.
