Wii sports - baseball - the batter keeps swinging constantly

This sounds like a sensor or controller issue. To eliminate the possibility of it being the sensor unplug the sensor and replace it with two candles the same distance apart as the length of the sensor and light them.

Candles can actually be used instead of the sensor as they emit Infra Red which the controller uses to tell the Wii where it is, in short they do the same job as the sensor panel. If the problem persists, its most likely the controller, try a different controller to eliminate this problem.

Can't play any games in which swinging is involved

yeah, there is a motion censor in the remote, its a tilt ball. It gets stuck if you swing the remote to hard, to get it unstuck, you have to smack the remote against the palm of your hand button side down.

Wii remote turns off

It sounds like you either have a low battery, or your motions may be dislodging the batteries on your controller. When the controller is off and you press a button, check to see how many of the four blue lights on the bottom of the controller are flashing. This tells you how much battery power you have: four lights is full, one light is low. If it's saying your battery is full, try taking the battery or batteries out and putting it back in. Good luck!

Wii remote won't let me swing or box

if the remote sensor doesnt work, then it wont register with the game console. there is sort of an accelerometer in a wii mote that can sense the changes in angle and height and things like that. that accelerometer could be broken due to dropping of the controller(unlikely) or overshaking(very unlikely) or just bad production(sort of likely). just call the nintendo customer service and confirm the problem with the controller and ask if it is possible to refund the item for a new one or you could just buy a new wii mote. also, you could try using a friends wii mote to make sure that your system is recognizing the controller.

My wii remote

@ Slivic22
Some games does not use Sensor Bar pointing because they play with motion/accelerometer only. After you select the number of sets on Wii Sports Tennis, there is no Sensor Bar pointing except for Pause menu. That's because you Swing the remote like a racket.
