Question about Hunter HEPAtech 715 (2 Pack) Air Purifier
I believe I've changed the pre-filter once since I've been using this Air Purifier (probably a year old). Recently, the Air Purifier stopped working (i.e., when I plug in AC power, no response in the LCD display - I remember that i should at least see something when it boots up).
Question: Is my problem because I've never changed my filter??? Are there any additional troubleshooting steps that i should take??

Honestly, whether there's a filter problem or not, the screen should boot up period. If you still have your manual that came with your machine, look up troubleshooting steps provided by the company. (might want to take a look at the warranty for a possible repair under manufacturers warranty). A very familiar hard reset is to unplug the machine, and hold down the power button for a minute (yes, unplugged) then release, plug it in, and try to turn it on. if that doesnt work, I'd attempt to unplug, press all the buttons on the machine once individually, then try again plugging it in, and turning it on. Try all this in a seperate outlet... If it fails, definately call their customer support, cus it may be a defect in the chipset.
