Need to replace keyboard

Hi,
I don't recommend to replace the laptop keyboard if you are not very familiar with hardware, though step by step instruction are available in net.
First check whether your laptop is still covered under warranty. If so, search the authorised service provider of your laptop model near to your place. And get the keyboard replaced by them. Sometimes you'll get it for free, if it is manufacturing defect.
Please come back and rate my solution if this turns to be helpful for you or also if you need more clarification. Thnx

How can i remove my laptop keyboard

Hello

These instructions will help you to remove and replace keyboards onvarious laptops. I will not be able to cover all models but you’ll getthe idea. Steps for removing and replacing the keyboard are similar formost laptops.
Warning!
- if your laptop is still covered by the manufacturer’s warranty, do not open the case or you can loose the warranty
- always remove the battery and unplug the AC adapter before you open the laptop case
- if you damage the keyboard connector on the motherboard you’ll have to replace the whole motherboard
- proceed on your own risk

Be careful, on some models the bezel might be connected to themotherboard as it shown on the picture above. If you accidentallypulled the cable, connect it back. It is not necessary to disconnectthe keyboard bezel from the motherboard in order to remove and replacethe keyboard, just put it aside so you can access the keyboard screws.

let me know if you have any other questions, yes its another model but its very similiar, I have a compaq laptop here and a acer laptop, on both laptop I would replace the keyboard pretty much the same way - I've had the keyboards off from both of these, and its very similiar on both brands I don't have a toshiba here but looking at those steps / picture its pretty much the same process.

Dell inspirion 1521 keyboard replacement

You can find the description about replacing the keyboard here.
Don't forget to unplug your laptop form the power and to remove the battery before you start. You also have to take the hinges off.(How-to is here.)

Be very careful when you take the keyboard off, so you do not damage the very delicate connection cable!
Remove the keyboard connection plug GENTLY!

Trying to find keyboard replacement instructions

On the back of the laptop remove the battery and any screws under it, if you look just above the keyboard theres a seperate peice of plastic now remove any screws on the back that could potentially screw into it and remove it (theres normally clips aswell and sometimes you have to slide it either left or right first. Then theres normally a screw holding the keyboard in normally locted in the centre and 'sunk-in' deeper than the rest of them remove that and the keyboard should lift up, careful its still attatched via a zif connector, remove this by pulling up the little tags at the edges of the connector pulling it out (should come out easily) then you looking for either a single cell battery or a black thing in the shape of a battery with a black and a red wire coming out of it.

Removing D7830 keyboard

To remove the keyboard you don´t need to remove the bottom.

Look at the first row _F KEYS_ With a small screwdriver you must pull 3 fixing points, left -near F2-, middle and right.
Pull between keyboard and case, these will release keyboard up.

Pulling there you can pull out keyboard.

Sorry for my English.
