How to enable the arrow keys on Toshiba mini netbook NB205?

  1. press Ctrl+Alt
  2. press arrow key
If that doesn't help click little arrows in the corner of the screen to get to the next page or use the arrow keys to scroll to the end of each row.

When using your browse, (browsers do not have scroll bars). You can get fro link to link, using the arrows at the top of your browser page.

Also, you can use the space bar to move down the page, or hold the left click button and use your touch pad to move around the page.

Thank You For Choosing FixYa~!

Hey i have a sony vaio notebook and am having trouble scrolling down on an open page that is too big for the screen some pages have no down arrows on the side and was wondering if any one could help thanks

Hi,

Check if the Scroll Lock button is on or off. ( If you hit the Scroll lock button, the light will glow, it means its On )
Turn it off and you should be able to scroll.

If this does not help, the file or page you are viewing should have a HAND option to let you view the page or browse through it without the arrow keys

Where can I find info simple enough to describe how to scroll up and down with a laptop. I have an old desktop and switching is really hard for an old lady

Usually easiest to scroll page up or down on laptop is to use arrow keys on your keypad - arrow up or arrow down. You'll find also keys "pg up" and "pg dn" for that. "Home" takes you at once to the top of page and "end" all the way down to the bottom of page.
Hope this helps you and answers your question. Have a nice day :)

I can only see what is visable on the screen. I cannot scroll down the page.

If you can't see any arrows to scroll with, press the ctrl key and tap the minus key. That will make the the page smaller so you can see if there are scroll bars.

Also, click anywhere on the page to make sure it is active and hit the down/up arrow keys, the page should roll down/up.

There are almost always roller buttons on the mouse you use that should also make the page scroll. Look in the middle of your mouse for a little wheel. Mice aren't all the same, so it may take some inspection. Thanks for using fixya.

When i click the top or bottom arrow to scroll up or down i get a little grey icon looks like a button that moves the page up and down on its own

You have accidentally turned on ScrollLock.
Find a key with the caption ScrollLk or similar and hit it either alone, or with the Fn key, or perhaps Fn + Shift - depends on model.

Scrolling with arrows

That is the normal action of the arrow keys when on the web. Are you trying to use the arrow keys for something specific while on the web and have you tried using the tab key instead?

Every page scrolls to the bottom

try reinstalling the touchpad drivers, go to your laptops home page, you can find the drivers there and reload them, works 99% of the time. other possibility would be a bad touhpad needing replacement.
