It is not your systems fault. 321Studios was forced out of business because the program worked to well for the Hollywood movie moguls. I am waiting to hear back from DVD Next Copy for any help they can give and will post again if they come up with a solution but I have a feeling that this software is now obsolete.

Get a decent registry cleaner, uninstall the program, run the reg cleaner. reboot, then try again...also you might want to look into this link...sysinternals. I find these utilities worth their wait in gold. But seriously, there are some pretty good programs microsoft doesn't like to advertise too much.
try deleting the whole program and reinstalling it sometimes the lines get crossed when trying to activate the program had the same problem also might want to try doing it manually online yourself too if all else fails call them
DVD X Copy Platinum can be activated 3 times, though
if you need to activate again, you can request another activation via
the online forums or phone. you can re activate it via the online site at http://www.dvdxcopy.com/
Sounds like you may have been ripped off. The following paragraph may explain your dilemma:
"DVDXCopy was once the world's best selling copying software, but after being banned for sale in 2003, authentic versions of 321 Studios software are no longer available. Some websites are still selling selling fake "DVD X Copy" Software for $29 or less, but they are not genuine 321 Studios software products." -- SOURCE
