Most restore disks are designed to work only with the ORIGINAL equipment. If you had replaced the motherboard with an identical unit the disks would have worked. But you used different board with different drivers, etc. What you can do is using another computer you can backup the files on your hard drive to a usb stick and then reload the hard drive with your OS of choice , load your programs and then transfer over your backed up files on the usb stick.

try draining the battery first.in order to do this. batery should be taken out the laptop. power adapter is unplugged. press and hold the power button then counte 1 to 10 then release your finger after 10 secs. then press in again then count. do that for 3 times. plugged everything back in and monitor the status afterwards
I am giving you the link to the factory service manual for your laptop. Check out page 65 for the ram insertion. The ram fits under the palmrest just below the keyboard.

If you know the battery is full by having tested it working in another machine ok, otherwise my guess is you are relying on windows to tell you the battery is full in which case you cant rely on that or some of the software that checks temp and battery life etc.
Chances are you do have either a faulty battery or even charger (even though charger will power machine faulty by not charging up the battery) and thats either with testing or replacing.
Still check the contact points for battery and ensure charger plug is seating correct you never know.
If that is the model of the new battery, then it looks like a compatable battery. It's quite possible it's simple a defective one. I woudl suggest calling the place you got the battery from and let them know it's not working. Check the following link, it has the official supported batteries listed for your model:
