Trying to install my microsoft LX 3000 headset software...gets to step 2 in install and it says..."not connected to the internet..connect to internet and try again...."...I am on my laptop that is always connected...

Sir,
When i'm using Microsoft Lx3000 headphone, the mute switch automatecally ON during call conversation through net. when its on mute button; that time not possible to switch off of mute button same time; there is only solution release the USB and fix again..... and the problems continue during call conversation... why..? how to solve the problem ?
