Sansa 250R ~ It will not reformat

After many attempts at fixing my problem, I have searched the site and have not been able to find my specific problem. My daughter's Sansa 250R is now stuck in Load image failed at start up. I have entered the Recovery Mode and when I try to put the newest firmware in the 16 MB Format folder it will go in, but when I try to exit recovery mode the firmware file does not "install" the player just says safe to disconnect USB Exit USB 2.0 MSD mode instead of rnning the firmware. When I turn it back on, still Load imge failed message. I have tried to format the drive with Sansa Updater, Windows, etc, but it still will not update in Recovery mode. Any suggestions? If I could get it to take the update in recovery mode, I think everything will work out fine. Thanks for any help!!!

    For Jalisa~

Do you have the button on the very top on hold you will see orange beside where you slide it. Do this before you turn the MP3 on. Push and hold menu and record at the same time. This should do it :)

I don't think that is possible, but if you can search specific files compatible to your player on torrent sites, maybe it can be done.

Sansa 250r will not let me put pictures or video on my player.

Use the Sansa Media Converter. If you don't have the SMC, you can download it from http://www.megaupload.com/?d=3IPZO6Q0

Sansa e260 not recognise, cannot format it

Ok first try to calm down, take a look at the back of the player and you will see 4 very small phillips screws, remove these and take the battery out of the player for about a minute then put it back in and see if all is ok, this will most times solve all problems but you may lose some if not all of the content in the player.
