Can't connect my I-Touch through WBR 2310

My nephew installed my dlink WBR 2310 and I cannot find details. I am now trying to connect with my Itouch and it cannot find the Dlink router. Al th the lights (3?) seem to be blinking and he was able to connect his laptop.
How can I reset the router etc. as I don't know what he did with the password. I think I know the network ID but nothing shows up on my Itouch> Help would be much appreciated.
