Question about ASUS P4SGX-MX Motherboard
I've just moved the internals of my computer into a new case and now my dvd burners wont register at all.
they are wired up correctly and have power but still do not register.
Thats maybe due to the data cable thats the flat cable that transfer the data from your motherboard to the dvd in the back of your hard drive and the back of your dvd there are some pins and a little block made by plastic . that is call a jumper and thats what does the settings for your drivers and on top of the hard drive it has a diagram to set them the dvd has that one to but is on the back next to the power conexion so your hard drive needs to be set as master and if they are using the same data cable the dvd needs to be set as slave
