My JVC projection tv is making a clicking noise with no picture. It then turns off after about 10 second with the power button flashing. Any idea what needs to be replaced? Thanks!

The clicking sound is the TV trying to restart itself. It generally attempts this several times before giving up. The blinking code indicates the type of error (error codes are documented in the manual for the TV). The most likely cause is a burned out bulb, but could be something else.
If it is a bulb, it is usually replaceable without a service technician, and at a cost far less than $450.
Good luck.
1. Hold [menu] and [vol-] button on the side of the TV
2. while holding these, press the [power] button on the side of TV (NOT remote)
3. blue light comes ON and stays ON
4. wait 10 seconds then let go of [menu] and [vol-]
5. wait another 30 seconds and some type of picture should appear
I think this is right. I got it from the JVC call centers guys so sorry if I missed or messed up a step.
Call for service; The problem is in one of the following areas; Power supply feed back loop, High voltage switcher, Flyback transformer, or Power on relay....accordianman
Your power transformer is likely shot. It'll cost at least $200 to have it replaced. Someone can come to your house to diagnose it. Usually costs around $65.
