If you installed the entire Samsung software that came with the phone it should pick it up. Also have you tried updating the software on the Samsung site?

Instead of using 'PC studio' option while connecting, use 'media player' option for transferring the files. Check this option. If this does not work, try creating the default directory yourself manually using the phone and then try transferring the files.
With working sim in phone, go to keypad and enter *2767*3855# and wait, this will fully reset phone so ensure you back up anything on it first, during repowering up remove battery and insert sim from other network then turn back on, phone should now be sim lock free. As always this is at your own risk.This will likely work with other Samsung phones
you can enter the hard reset code but that will delete everything on the
phone the code is *2767*3855# i haven't been able to find the password
reset for the F48. The default code for the Samsung F480 is 12345678
