Question about Sony Grand WEGA KDF-60WF655 60" Rear Projection HDTV
Using the HDMI cable, I have a picture for a few moments when my mac mini boots up, but then the TV (Video 7 output) goes black. I know the mac mini is working because when I plug it into a monitor, the picture is fine on a monitor.
Check to see if the TV can support the resolution and refresh rate (ie 1920X1080 at 60HZ) Most HDTV's have a limited number of resolutions and refresh rates that they are compatible with. When the computer is booting up, it is probably using a default resolution that is compatible with the tv. Then after the computer finishes loading all of it's drivers, the resolution changes to one not supported by your tv
