Why does my Definitive Pro Sub 1000 keep blowing fuses the second I put them in?

Sounds like the amp is shoot.
Never power on the amp without speaker connected.

Where do I get a volume control switch for a M-Audio studiopro 3?

@ Radioshack PN 271-0002 Volume Control with Push Switch, it will fix the speakers but make them MONO, so you need 2 of them to make it stereo. I recommend 2 cause this speakers have the volume distribution problem from factory.

I bought a Behringer Eurolive B1220 Pro speaker with my PA system brand new and it sounded great at first. Now it sounds really muddy (the other 2 speakers I bought work fine) almost as if the horn has...

Bad've blown the tweeters. Overdriving the mixer/amp creates distortion on the amplifier which heats up the speaker voice coils and eventually causes damage. Because of their small diameter voice coil windings the tweeters fail first (opens up like a fuse element does) followed by the woofer making a scraping sound (deformed voice coil) or not working as well. Warranty service because you blew out the tweeters? Don't get your hopes up.

1. PLEASE use enough power for the venue that you have. A high powered system will run all night at 10:00 (physical volume knob setting) than an underpowered system set for 2:00.

2. Get speakers off the ground and closer to your audience's ears. Audio from speakers on the floor must battle surfaces that actually absorb some of the sound....carpet, drapes, etc. And besides, legs can't hear that well.

Definitive Pro-Sub 1000 subwoofer replacement fuse.

Fit a 3 or 2.5 anything lower, if you can get away with it, but nothing higher.
However the chances are that it blew due to an overload, often caused by a shorted semi-conductor acting like it was a piece of wire. So even fitting a smaller one and it blowing again doesn't mean it's due to the rating.

My subwoofer atarted making deep humming sound, then stopped working. I changed the fuse and then when i turned it on it blew the fuse. What can i do?

The voice coil of your woofer is off centered and shorting on the armture causing the speaker to draw too much current. The fuse blew thereby protecting the output stages of your amp. Replace the speaker.

One of a pair of tannoy 6 D studio monitors went out with a loud buzz and now does nothing when I turn it on. No LED light ? No Sound.

Speakers don't cause a loud buzz but amplifiers do. Is it possible that the input to the amp lost it's ground? Regardless, this is not why the speaker does nothing but you would want to correct any amplifier problem before hooking up another speaker. If as you say, absolutely nothing happens it is possible that you blew out the voice coil of one of the drivers but blowing out both the woofer and tweeter simultaneously would be unusual, not to mention that Tannoys can take quite a bit of guff. So the next possibility is that there is a problem internally with the crossover or,and I doubt that it exists, and internal fuse associated with it. Since there is an LED (and I don't know what purpose it serves) there has to be some sort of power supply (fused?) to activate it. It could be derived from the audio output of the amp but it would then pulse on and off rather than just be constantly on. Getting inside the unit with an ohmmeter would quickly determine what's going on but I don't know how this can be meaningfully diagnosed at arms length and therefore just can give you some generic ideas.

Fuse blows

Both 3 or 4 amp slow blow fuses are suitable replacements for the 3.125 amp subwoofer fuse.

It could be that the subwoofer is blowing the fuse because the one you installed was not slow blow.

But, more likely is the subwoofer has a short in the power supply which is causing the fuse to blow.

This is very easy. The Red and Black(Sometimes white) are for your Audio Usually Left and Right respectively. Yellow is for Video let me know if that helps. there are some instances where if you plan to hook it up to a Television, specially the older ones, you'll find that you just have two inputs for only two cables so what do you do then. Well... Just hook up the yellow for the Video Par and Either the black or Red leaving one unused. Let me know how that works out for you alright. And feel free to ask more questions where we will be more than happy to assist you.
