Re: mms settings

Call your network provider, as in Vodafone, Orange or whatever and they will give you a PIN number (to use only once) and send you a text message, when you receive the message press save it or install depending on the type of phone you use. Then you will be asked to enter the PIN number and your settings will automatically install.

MMS dont always work between networks.

Can't send/receive any mms on my samung B3410 phone, i contacted my service provider three times and each time they sent sent me a text message to cure this, still nothing.

you need to update softver in your phone, then mms will work for you.problem is in your phone softver.but before that erase the mms settings from the other operators, leave only settings from yours.

Mms can not sent from my phone to other phone

There are certain conditions that have to be meant before you can send MMS on your phone.
Some of these conditions are that you have to possess an MMS compatible phone and you need to subscribe for the service from your network provider. By subscribing, you are sent the configuration message for the settings of the MMS service.
When this is sent, you have to save it to your phone and set it as the default access point for sending MMS messages.
To do this, you would have to call your network provider and request for the configuration message or ask them for instructions on how to obtain this configuration on your phone.
Hope this was helpful?

Normally you'll need Vodafone to send you both the MMS and Internet connection settings. Then once received an save take your battery out of the handset without switching it off, remove your SIM for 10 seconds. Put it back together and send yourself a MMS and you should now be fully set up.

Alternatively here are Vodafone's settings:

Access Point Name:
Username: wap
Password: wap
Authentication: Normal
Data bearer: GPRS
Gateway IP (proxy) address:
Session mode: Permanent
Port number: 9201
MMS Message (Relay) Server URL:

Here’s a quick tip on how to activate your phone’s Smart MMS and Smart GPRS settings if you’re with the Smart network:
Download MMS and GPRS settings from Smart:
To download SMART MMS phone settings:
Key in SET MMS and send to 211.
To download SMART GPRS phone settings:
Key in SET GPRS and send to 211.
Example: If you have a Nokia 6230, that’s “SET MMS N6230
To activate SMART GPRS:
Key in “GPRS ON” and send to “333′
To activate SMART MMS:
Key in “MMS ON” and send to “333′
Note :
The configuration settings will be sent to your phone. You will need to select “Save All” to save the settings in the phone. Some MMS and GPRS handsets already have pre-loaded phone settings.
Activation of MMS and GPRS will require a confirmation message from SMART. A message will be sent to the sub once the feature has been activated

Mms settings

You need to get the Settings for Internet/Wap and MMS from your Network Service Provider. These settings are usually sent as a text msg. When you receive the msg. choose save or install on your phone. Or get the settings directly from their website. The MMS service doesn’t always work between networks.
You don't need to go into setting it up manually yourself, it's all automated.
