POSSIBLE PROBLEM: In the passed, whenever I installed ink cartridge in a HP, the computer inside the printer audits the cartridge(s), and if it isn't or wasn't HP Brand cartridge(s), it wouldn't accept or recognize the cartridge(s). I hope this helps.
If it is a problem with one particular cartridge, then check the contacts, both on the cartridge itself and in the machine.
I have one buckled contact(have no idea how as it is the first time I have changed a cyan cartridge) in the machine itself for cyan and it will not accept the new HP cartridge is a full one.
(Having found the fault, my next problem is how to find someone who can repair it without charging a fortune......)
