the memorex mmp8585 keeps freezing and the computer wont recognize it. it says there may be a malfunction.

I have the same problem.

i have the memorex 3 GB mp3 player, i was using windows media player to sync music onto it, the error message "no support for low power!" and it froze to that screen, what can i do?

The player on connecting to the computer does not show & freezes.The screen shows goodbye but does not switch off.

I have a YP-T10 and my windows player is giving an error message . and not letting me download music to my player.

This isn't always the problem, but if the battery in the mp3 player is too low, the computer will tell you it 'malfunctioned'. Replace the battery and all of a sudden, the computer can see it again...

I sometimes forget the player is plugged into the usb port--in my player it makes it stay on and runs down the battery.

i unpluged without removing safely, now it stuck in docking mode.

zune freezes at the logo screen.. I have to wait till it discharges completely. Then I can recharge it and it will run fine untill it freezes at the logo screen.
