Ebay is your friend for parts, but google is best for instructions.. you can even try youtube for video instructions.. Make sure you reread any auction twice for your own protection.. and use paypal for the transaction.. Hope this helps.

Hi, the charging connector is broken, can it be replaced easily? If so , how do i get to it? the lap top is a TJ74-RB-050UK. Cheers

the dc jack (charging connector) can usually be bought for about 5 pounds or less from ebay. As far as fitting it goes it depends how confident you are. You will need to disassembel your laptop and remove the broken jack from the motherboard and then solder the new one on.

Power cord connects but it is loose and will not charge without constant pressure. Is there a part I can buy or something to fix it

1/ Find a tape
2/ Wrap the tape around the plug 2 -3 rounds.
3/ Trim off the redundant tape, to make it neat (as in the picture)
4/ Plug in to see if it works
You may add more rounds if it is still loose.

I am using AOpen 200-Watt Power Supply, suddenly, it has a problem: No power output. Maybe any diot is broken? How to dectect and replace it?

200 watt would mean it is a few years old so it could eb a few things. Power supplies can be prone to heat damage if never cleaned out. It's cooling fan gets plugged up just like your cpu fan. The ehat will kill off weak parts.

Generally what fails on these are the big power transistors (mosfets) and sometimes the power capacitors. Easy to replace if you can solder. There is also a fuse on the board that sometimes goes out.
If you can't solder then its not really worth trying to fix as a new power supply is so cheap. You can find a 350 or 400 watt for about $20 brand new.

My Power Suplly makes a high pitch noise and the

The problem lies in the reduction of operational frequency. It is mainly caused during the loose of ferrite cores or failure of HV diodes across the primary coil.
1) Check the looseness of ferritte cores parts loose or fixed properly ?
2) If OK Just check the components parallel to the high voltage side of the big transformer.
3) Check low voltage schottky rectifier diodes. One must be shorted. Just remove and here the sound. If it disappears, it must be faulty. During this test, the output voltages may increase to three times also. So, to safeguard, disconnect the filter capacitors.
Solution :
1) If any of the core becomes loose, just join it properly with epoxy or glue.
2 & 3) If any device fault occurs, just replace it in case of schottky rectifier diodes better replace with higher capacity. Capacity with numbers are given below :
1N5822 => 3 A
F12C20=> 6A per channel total 12A
MBR 20150 => 10A per channel.
MBR 3035WT => 15A per channel

No air ... compressor seems to be working OK ... a loose air connection?

That would be agood place to start. Try starting the unit and pressing your finger over the head and see if the pressure guage builds air you will only be able to hold it for a few seconds but just to see if its compressing air. If so its fine and check the connection where it is adding air to..

HP pavillion ze2000 laptop has a broken power

I did this to a laptop many times. And after soldering the problem came back after few months. This is a major problem with laptops. What I finally did is jum short wires inside to bypass the part of the board that caused the problem, and never had to open it again. Opening a laptop is not easy with so many screw, and I hate opening it every few months.

There's not going to be a simple fix for this. First check the jack on the computer to see if it's loose or broken. If so then the jack will need replaced. If not, then the problem will be with a power management system chip on the motherboard. Either way, the motherboard is going to have to come out in order to fix the problem. Hope for the broken jack, this is repairable and will run approx $100. If it's the power management system, then the board will have to be replaced, and that's expensive.

Jack is loose where charger plugs in

This same thing is happening with my acer laptop. I sent it to the company about 3 months ago, and it happened again. I really need my laptop and cant take a month without it. I advise sending it in to be fixed to your laptop company.
Good luck (:
