Question about Balance CM2019 19" LCD Monitor

Line All of a sudden, my monitor has a thin black line dividing the screen. the picture is fine, but with a line down the midde. I have tried rebooting, no good. Anyone know how to fix this? It is a Balance CM2019 19"

Sounds like an inverter problem. If the power supply is internal replace the capacitors coming out of the voltage regulators. These are usually 1000mf and/or 470mf. If that doesn't do the trick look up the numbers on the 8-pin chips that drive the secondary transformers on the inverter to see if they are getting the right voltages.

check it against another computer if the same result then its faulty
is your graphics card a standalone if so that could be the problem
but i am assuming it built in then option 1

Try the fuse on the monitor power cord, and if this does not cure, you will have to get another monitor....pretty good prices on ebay!

I have a thin black line across my screen half way down

You don't say whether it is a LCD monitor or a CRT one.

CRT Trinitron tubes have two thin black lines, one at about 1/3 height, one at about 2/3. This is normal and nothing to be worried about (sometimes one and more rarely both lines can't be seen).

LCD monitors should NOT have any black lines at all, and if they do it's probably a driver latch circuit gone bad -- and there's not much that can be done in practice, except replace the monitor.

My AOC 5en CRT monitor have a horizontal line whole screen... how i fixed it?

this is called hline problem. only a thin line is seen in the screen and the screen is black. the cabinet needs to be opened then it needs slight setting from the picture tube to get the whole picture.

most common lcd monitor break down, check all electrolytic capacitors for leakage and loose board solder specially on the ccfl inverter section.

The LC display is bad. The monitor will have to be replaced.
