Re: toshiba laptop

First thing I would do is make sure the keys aren't stuck, a little canned compressed air blown underneath is good to clear out any debris that may be stuck under the keys, as long as you haven't had any spills recently you shouldn't have any problems, however sometimes keyboards do short and this could be the problem, but without a visual diagnosis, it would be hard to say.

Hope this helps.

Key board letter stuck

Buy a can of compressed air, attach straw, slightly lift one side of key and give a few good blasts of air in the hopes it will loosen the key, repeat as needed. If no change! you can hook a external keyboard or replace the laptop keyboard.

How do I take the keys off too clean, if I can take them off

Use a paintrbrush to clean between the keys or even a can opf compressed air to blow ( Vacuum cleaner even to **** dirt out) Wipe keys with DAMP ( not wet cloth.. no detergent) Some chemicals will remove the letters on keys. Avoid using hand creme as this will destroy keys fast.

I need to replace a couple of letter keys on my laptop. Where can I purchase them. How much and how easy is the work to replace these keys.?

if your problem is (the keys writing are worn out) then you can neatly write on it, but if the keys (some ) are not working, then your keyboard will not work, even tyou replace the keys...the plastic tracks can be damaged, and only it can be replace by changing the whole keyboard...check out on ..if hard to get 1, plug a usb external keyboard

The letter "H" on your keyboard got stuck and it's like pressed down all the time. You can pop out the key then clean it. If the issue is resolved, you should not hear the beeping sound anymore when you boot up the unit. Or better yet, if your under warranty, contact Toshiba, 1-800-457-7777 and they'll be blad to repair your keyboard.

Hope this helps.
