Black Picture Dark picture when I firs turn it on and gets better after about a half hour. After it's been on for a few hours the screen will go black and you will not be able to see anything.

Could be a back light issue.

Usually a few electrolytic capacitors on the power supply board are swollen or burst.

You have answered your own question, someone needs to open it and find a loose plug or broken solder connection--if it reacts to being tapped on that is the issue- a physical problem inside.

u have bad lower buffer board

The lower "Y Buffer" board is defective. Best repaired by a technician, or contact Phillips support for the part if you think you are able to replace a small circuit board on your own.

more than likely the problem is directly related to the monitor. If this is the case, you are better off buying a new laptop, because the screens can cost at least half the price of a brand new laptop. Vertical output chip has some ring cracks on leads (cold solder joints). Set is shutting brightness off to protect5 it's crts from burning a black streak across them.
