When printing, I see a vertical streak on the printed page, from top to bottom, about 2 1/4 inches from the left side of the paper, and about 1/16 of an inch wide. I can't seem to see what causes this. The printer is quite clean and the streak persists through three toner cartridges. Help... Please.

This is more than likely down to the upper roller in the fuser assembly. It's the heat roller at the back of the printer. The upper roller wears so paper dust and toner stick to the roller which then can get deposited back on to the page.
