- It is not working without it being connected but when it is connected I can reset it but all the happens is the logo flashes up and then goes back to "do not disconnect" but with a full battery...also not sure what you mean by disconnecting safely ??
Does it stop working when you unplug it or is there life, like you charged it. Also are you disconnecting it safely?
If you are sure your doing everything correctly you will have to return it to apple , or the retailer from whom you pruchased it as it is likely an internal issue.

I have a classic 60GB ipod. It is completely dead and I can't turn it on, I think because it does not have enough power to charge itself. My son tells me he says he thinks it is also "locked" and dead?? Does anyone know how I can turn it back on/charge it?
