Question about Bissell 7901-1 ProHeat Scotchgard Upright Wet/Dry Vacuum

Product instructions need full view of internal schmatic and instructions on how to change belts or troubleshoot problems. I have the 1699 proheat and the 7901 Bissell I would appreciate a copy of operating instructions. Thank you, Raja Burns email address rajaluwan@yahoo.com

You can change the belts from the bottom, remove the brush roll, then you can reach thru slot to change the pump belt, then the cogged belt. Wasn't sure which darwing you wanted, if it is electrical, let me know.

Water does not come out of the bottom like it used to. It comes out of the accessory hose. I don't know how to change belts, etc.

Rollers don't turn and pump doesn't put out any shampoo or rinse water


You need to replace the Pump belt and the roller brush belt. You can get both belts and view the manual which has instructions here:

Bissell 1699 ProHeat Clear View uses very little soap.


The valve at the bottom of the soap tank may have gone bad, Also try running a mix of water and vinegar(not on carpet) to see if it will clean the system out. The system may just need cleaning out.
