Question about Maytag MGR6772BDS Gemini Gas Kitchen Range

Water spill on Gemini Gas stove

My nine year old poured hot water on to stove while it was on and he was heating water for hot chocolate. Black smoke and electrical smell followed. We have turned off at breaker. What should we do now that it has dried out? This happened 6 days ago. We know nothing about appliances but assume the automatic electric ignition was what was affected.

HI i have karzima r which is 5 years old. but from past one month it start throwing white smoke from exhaust. this is only in the morning & evening start up. and white smoke only come out when i r

white smoke= lean fuel, dark smoke= rich fuel. white smoke also could mean mean a blown head gasket allowing water to mix with the oil (very bad). Run it for a bit then take out and look at the oil filler pug. if the oil is frothy or bubbly and has the color of hot chocolate there is water in it. Replace head gasket and flush all systems immediately! Pary for the best

I just renter a house with a Rinnai R94LS water heater. The house and heater are 3 years old. 50-70% of the time I get a shower, the hot water suddenly stops after just 5-10 minutes and goes completely...

Its a tankless heater. It will heat water as long as it senses a large enough flow of water. Either the flow sensor is bad, or not sensitive enough, or you are using less water than it is set to work at. Try keeping a large flow running. Instead of a trickle, shut it off entirely.

How do i get even heat thru out the house with a daka wood stove
You burn wood, and smoke goes up flueway.
You're not running chimney smoke through ductwork so you have a heat exchanger.
What kind of heat exchanger?
probably air since you're running through ductwork?
How much hot air or hot water is coming off heat exchanger?
How big of a space can be heated with that amount of heat?
Is the exchanger located in optimal location?

One room log cabin with fireplace will not stay very warm.
One room house with big wood burning stove in center, with hot flue pipe running across the room and exiting on far wall, will get warm-hot, but will cool off fast.
Because the BTU output of firewood is much less than electric, coal, oil, or gas.
Otherwise they would have made wood-burning steam locomotives. But the locomotive boiler cannot get hot enough with wood ... the boiler needs coal to produce enough BTUs to boil water fast enough to rotate the turbine and turn the wheels.

Maybe your wood stove output should be measured.
Don't forget a huge percentage of fire heat goes straight up flueway.

460 eng burns to much fuel and blows black smoke. 1987 e 350 . burns rich

thats a HUGE engine and will **** a ton of gas!!! but if ts using more than normal, along with theblack smoke, tells me you have some valves with alot of carbon buid up on can spend 100s removing the heads and sericing the engine....but i would warm up the engine...have a friend give it some gas to keep the RPMs up while you SLOWELY pour a ite stream of water into th carb. it will spit and sputter while you do this, dont be scared...tats normal, then have your friend rev the engine while you do a bit more. while you do this, you will see a ton of black smoke out the exhaust. what your doing is heating up the valves, and when water hits thm, it busts that build up off,and it burns giving you some black smoke. continue to do this till the smoke changes color, and then you will have fixed it. its a trick i used years ago...and never failed!!!

My heat stopped working my cars blowing smoke out of the muffler and my temperature gauge is past hot but the carrs engine isnt smoking

if theres smoke coming out of the exaust then the motor is smoking. sounds like you have a blown head gasket and it's low on water is why the heat isn't working.

I can no longer unscrew the plastic part that the glass container fits into on my old Waring 18BL28 blender. It is a simple 10 speed that works perfectly.

Something sticky is in the threads... Try very hot water in the sink as a start, while boiling some water on your stove. With the glass and plastic preheated, install them to the blender base which must be unplugged for the rest of this adventure. Pour the boiling water in, only to about 1/3 of capacity. Install the top cover to protect from the hot water. Hold the glass by the handle and with a rubber glove on the opposite corner or pour spout side. Hold high to avoid the heat from the water. Have a large burly man hold the blender base so that you may twist the glass container counter-clockwise. Stop as soon as it starts to turn the plastic ring off...and go the the sink... Continue after pouring out the hot water. Remember that his procedure is likely to cause broken glass or broken plastic and exposure to scalding hot water. If those risks are acceptable you should still take precautions to protect your flesh. Otherwise order a replacement ring and pitcher for the blender.
