Hello rebelwarrior,

Unfortunately, Logitech do not sell these components separately..The only components that they sell fro mice are replacement mice feet. They will replace the entire unit if it is still under warranty and is unopened/tampered with. You contact their customer via email HERE. They usually respond within a day or two max. (I know, because I was on the support desk for a while ;))
If you wish to call them, the number is:
+1 646-454-3200
Monday - Friday: 6am - 6pm PST
Saturday - Sunday: 7am - 5pm PST

However, I think you may be able to find suitable replacement parts at your local computer store or by doing a Google search online...Hope that helps...

Should you have any further questions, please feel free to post them here.

P.S. Before you assign a rating, please make sure that the issue is resolved or you are satisfied. If not, please post back as to what you did, and/or any other questions you may have, and I will try to assist you as best I can. Please do not assign an ‘Inappropriate’ or ‘Thanks for trying’ rating if your issue is not resolved after the first response itself, as sometimes a bit of to and fro dialogue may be necessary before we can find a fix or an answer to your query.

If you find that the solution/answer I provided led you to, or resulted in a fix, please close the ticket with a FixYa! or Helpful rating. I would be very grateful for your show of appreciation.

Thank you for using FIXYA!

SOURCE: Unresponsive mouse XP unable to initialize device driver for Logitech LX8 laser mouse

Your best course of action would be to use System Restore, based on your response above. Go back to the point where everything worked for you and don't attempt to update your driver again. If it works, don't fix it.

After that if there was something you wanted to accomplish, let us know and we can help you.

SOURCE: how to install logitech mouse

first off when installing usb devices always start the installer from the cd first. then once the installer is done restart your computer, then plug in the usb antenna for the mouse on a available usb port on your computer. most of those mouses have to be charged as well before their initial use.

SOURCE: logitech V220 cordless mouse won't work

The V220 is a quite nice rodent, my favorite. Check 3 things.

1) Is the battery facing the right way? Minus end goes in first. Green LED should turn on for a few seconds after the battery is installed.

2) Is the mouse ON? The switch under the mouse is supposed to turn on automatically when the receiver is removed. This does not always work.

3) Unplug the USB Receiver. Connect it to a different USB port. Run the Logitech Connect utility.

If the mouse still does not work, uninstall the Setpoint software and reboot. It is possible that the driver did not install correctly. After reboot, try Step 3 again.

Setpoint software is only needed if you want to use the wheel click or horizonal scroll features.

If all else fails, try installing your V220 on a different computer.

Hi, Please uninstall any logitech software version present on your OS (if available) - Then please proceed to clean boot. ( ) -> Unplug all the USB devices connected to the computer ( Less keyboard + mouse ) please use corded kbd+mouse if
possible rather than a cordless device. -> Go to device manager -> Delete all the USB HOST CONTROLLER -- All of them -- -> The host controller might reinstall them itslef, let the computer handle the reinstallation -> If the computer does not reinstall the host controllers, trigger the detection using the DM function " Scan for
new hardware " ( The computer with magnifier icon ) -> Once reinstalled, clean boot -> Reinstall the software if available and/or plug the hardware when needed. -> Should work.
This TB delete the usb ports " memory " means if a device as been previously flagged with error, it will redetect
the device without the flag, unless there is some serious issue with the hardware/OS
If after this the issue persist, then I suggest you to call Logitech support to issue a replacement, hardware
failures are covered by warranty terms

Greetings: I'm moving a marble mouse to a new computer. Previous setup had left small button perform the "back" function. I cannot remember how I programmed this. Please help...!

I believe you would have programmed the buttons with the driver software that SHOULD have come with the mouse. That would be your best bet. Look to see if the drivers installed a utility to program that mouse buttons.

Mouse won't work 'cause program is not installing

First you can go to the website and type in "keyboard al shortcuts and hotkeys". You will get a listing of all the things that you can do with the keyboard that you could that you were able to do with the mouse. Then take the mouse back since it is not compatible with your operating system and exchange it for one that is compatible. That information is usually on the package.

Don't forget to rate this solution before you log out.

Scrolling Problem Following Windows SP3 Installation

This is obviously a driver fault, unless by coincidence the mouse is failing.

For a start, try uninstalling the driver, and then re-installing it back.

Marble mouse problems

I have a problem like this with the marble mouse ... relatively easy workaround for me is if I simply grab the trackball with my fingers, lift it slightly out of its cradle, and put it back down, it starts working again. It would be better if there were some way to prevent it from freezing in the first place.

I had another marble mouse a couple years ago that did not have this problem. Eventually one of its button switches went bad so I had to replace the mouse. This is the replacement.

love this trackball mouse, yet they are very sensitive to wear and trash that causes them to fail. Wal-Mart sells great ones like the Logitech LX3 optical mouse that are not as sensitive and have more features
