Looked around for a solution for a long time for this one.
1) removing the batteries from the Wii Fit balance
board for at least a minute.
2) Turn the Wii OFF by pressing the POWER Button on the
front of the console. Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet for a
few seconds. After a few seconds plug the cord back into
2 Turn the power of the Wii console ON. When
you see the Health and Safety screen, open the small flap on the front
of the Wii console to find a red button labeled "SYNC." Press and hold
the SYNC Button down for 15 seconds. This should clear all the old syncs on
3 After holding the SYNC Button on the Wii console down for at least 15 seconds, you can now "re-sync" your Wii Remotes:
With the first Wii Remote you wish to sync, remove the battery cover on
the back of the Wii Remote to find a small red button just below the
b Press and release the small red button just below
the batteries on the Wii Remote; the blue lights on the front of the
Wii Remote will turn on.
c Quickly press and release the red SYNC button on the inside of the white flap on the front of the Wii console.
When the Player LED blinking stops and stays lit, the syncing is
complete. The LED that is illuminated indicates the player number (1
4 Start the game from the Wii Menu, don't forget to sync the Wii Balance Board from the opening screen of the game (you've deleted the syncs earlier).
Another problem may be the surface on which you post the Wii fit, make sure it's flat, try put it on the floor directly or place it on a rug.
And don't forget to "step on" it when it says and not before as the Wii console might be "overloaded".
This is because you have wiiconnect24 turned on. wiiconnect24 keeps your wii in a standby mode so that you can receive messages when you are not playing the wii. When the disc tray is blinking blue this means you have a new message. If you want to turn wiiconnect24 off go into the wii settings menu then wiiconnect24. If you just want to turn the wii off fully then when you want to turn the wii off hold the power button on the wii down until it turns red.
I had the same problem until I realized that you had to have the device pointed upward before pressing the (B) button to initiate the bowler. When you do this, the bowler first takes a stance and you continue to hold the (B) button in as you swing your arm and release it as it passes your ankle.
The more you play, the more the better you get.
Bowling is particularly sensitive to the location of the Wiimote when you start the action, so yes, there is more text than usual. The proper procedure to bowl is:
1) Hold Wiimote up against your chest in a vertical manner.
2) Press and hold the "B" button.
3) While keeping your finger on the "B" button, rotate and stiffen your arm behind you, then rotate forward, releasing the "B" button in stride.
If you wait too long, you will get an error.
If you release the "B" button before you rotate your arm, you will get an error.
