Software loading disc2phone cd will not load onto my comp

Spend about $35 to purchase a brand-new CD/DVD reader/writer.

Or, take a USB memory-stick, and the product CD/DVD disk, to another computer.
Copy all the files from the media onto the memory-stick.

On your computer, use the files on the memory-stick to install the software.

you will have to install it your self when you put a cd in the rom drive it will automatically run but when you down load a programm you have to install it because its not on a cd its on your computer

The computer was trying to install the printer software.
A CD comes with the printer. The software drivers are on the CD.
You will need to load the software for the printer to work correctly

if you have your windows cd then in it there are the cd driver files
it is in a certain folder

The best way to delete any unwanted content is to install and run the Philips Device Manager software from the product CD, and select the restore option.

This software is only compatible with Windows XP.

Viruses would not cause damage to the MP3 because they do not run any files loaded on to them

you cannot fix a broken cd. However, you can download the installation files from the internet.. From lexmark site itself or from some other sites

Using Bluetooth with your PC is not the most reliable way. Use the USB cable provided with the phone. Even with the cable, Disc2phone doesn't seem to always work. I found it to take a long time to work and sometimes it didn't work at all.
Make sure you have the latest version of Disc2phone, download from:

If you used the CD supplied with your phone to install Disc2phone it's probably out of date.
