Question about Apple iPod nano
Hi, i've placed my Nano into my new audiostation and it plays but i have no sound. The manual says go to apple, com and download updater firmware but i don't seem to be able to. Please can you help? Bea
First make sure your hold switch isn't on. It's on the top or bottom and slides
back and forth. It needs to be switched to the left. Once it is to the
left, here's how you reset:
You can reset your ipod by holding down the menu and select (round button in the center) buttons down for at least 10 seconds. You'll see an apple logo flash, that's when you stop pressing the buttons. It will shut off, then back on.

Well I went to my computer clicked my ipod and when the folders came up you go up top to "tools and folder options" and go to the tab that says "view" and click the one that says "show hidden folders." Then click "ipod control" then "Device" and delete the file that says "_lock" or something on that line. If you any questions email me at firstname.lastname@example.org

Try resetting it by toggling the hold switch and putting it back in the off position. Then press and hold the center button and the menu button for about 6 seconds until the ipod goes off and the Apple logo appears. After that, it should work like new. Hope this helps.

Reset iPod nano
(if it isn’t responding)
Slide the Hold switch to HOLD and back again. Press the Menu and
Center buttons at the same time for about 6 seconds, until the
Apple logo appears.
